Bono Mobile App

Bono is a community-based lifestyle app that lets users discover events, share moments, and connect with people who share similar interests. NAJWorks handled everything end-to-end: UX research, interaction design, and cross-platform implementation on iOS and Android.

Bono wanted to create an intimate community experience without falling into the patterns of noisy, generic social media. The challenge: designing a feed that feels personal, notifications that don't overwhelm, and an onboarding flow that immediately connects new users with relevant communities.

We used Flutter for a single codebase that still feels native, with an offline-first architecture to handle Indonesia's variable mobile connectivity. Community recommendations are powered by a tag-based interest algorithm, and push notifications are filtered by contextual relevance. A modular design system enabled fast iteration on new features.
